About Social Sessions
Social Sessions makes micro-dosed cannabis chocolates and runs cannabis dinners, tastings, workshops and education sessions. It’s based in Scarborough, Ontario. Tanya, the creative director, and Polina, a chef who handles operations and R&D, co-founded it. Polina has been cooking with cannabis since 2015.
The edibles are manufactured by 10392804 Canada Inc., which does business as Sweet Vengeance. Sweet Vengeance is the licensed producer.
The chocolates
Its products include 10-piece chocolate bars with 1 mg of THC per piece. The 1111 bar is made of scored squares of 60% vegan dark chocolate, with THC and Lion’s Mane mushroom in each square and organic Canadian-sourced ingredients. The 1212 bar pairs 1 mg of THC with 25 mg of full-spectrum CBD and 25 mg of reishi mushroom per piece. Both are hybrids made with Ontario-grown cannabis. Each 10-pack counts as 4.3 g of dried cannabis toward the 30 g purchase limit.
Both bars have “Vegan” in their names, but Health Canada testing found milk in them.
The July 2026 recall
On July 22, 2026, Sweet Vengeance recalled five Social Sessions edibles after Health Canada inspected the facility and tested samples. The chocolates contained milk, and some also contained hazelnut. Neither allergen was on the label. Cannabinoid values were wrong too: the chocolates had less THC than their labels showed, while the chili crisp had more. The recall covers the lots below, for all packaging dates, so check the lot number on any Social Sessions package you have.
